Jurgis Dobkevičius, born in 1900, was the very first to create and build first Lithuanian construction plane in 1922. DOBI-I was a singleseater sport monoplane of wooden construction.

To celebrate 120 years birth anniversary of Jurgis Dobkevičius, Lithuanian Aviation Museum has created T-shirt and baseball cap collection that are available to purchase at the museum gift shop (Veiverių str. 132, Kaunas) or may be sent by post, if requested ([email protected]).
